about

avi gupta is an artist, photo editor, and educator. his photographic works have been exhibited widely and held in the permanent collections of the sainsbury center for visual art, the library of congress, and the smithsonian’s asia pacific center. as a picture editor, he has over 10 years of experience working with visual journalists to cover current events around the globe. at universities across the dc area, he lectures on creative approaches to photojournalism and fine art photography.
